Fiber Love

We had such a wonderful time at the Connecticut Sheep & Wool Festival in Tolland today.  So much wool and knitted goods, bunches of cloud-like roving stuffed into bags, earthy smelling sheep being sheared and in the field for the herding demonstrations…  It was positively heavenly.  And to be surrounded completely by so many other fiber people…!  I loved it so much, I am fairly certain I will be traveling up to the Massachusetts Sheep and Wool Festival next month, too!  Just to be surrounded by my people again.

And tomorrow night is going to be my first spinning lesson!!  (I love fiber friends.) 😉

Where is the Masachusetts one being held and what is the date?

    • It is really fun! May 26 and 27 at the Cummington Fairgrounds, just off Route 9 in Cummington. It is the real deal…38 years old. (I think the CT one is 108 years old this year…). See you in Cummington!
