This week

I’ve got 3 knitting projects going on right now, but this is the one I’m enjoying the most (at the moment).

A pair of “tiny trousers” from the book, Vintage Knits for Modern Babies . I’m reading Amanda Soule’s new, beautiful book, The Rhythm of Family: Discovering a Sense of Wonder Through the Seasons . Loving it, of course!

Next week we have a crew coming to the house to clear and level about an acre of property. Then, about 2 weeks later, we are going to begin the barn raising. My father in law as well as a friend of my husband’s are coming out to help. We’ll have comfy winter housing for the animals, and a portion of land which will be indisputably, real, pasture. Exciting stuffs!

August is nearly half over and cooler weather is coming. Yes! 🙂

  2. everyone is reading this book today! well, almost everyone. i suppose i will head on over to amazon to get it since my local borders is closing 😦 i don’t like the idea of ordering it from amazon though cause…i am just putting others out of business too! sigh. GOOD LUCK on the barn raising! that is awesomely exciting!

    Gorgeous warm color for the tiny trousers! We still have months and months before a cool breeze blows by here, uggh! It’s been hot!
