This week

I’ve got 3 knitting projects going on right now, but this is the one I’m enjoying the most (at the moment).

A pair of “tiny trousers” from the book, Vintage Knits for Modern Babies . I’m reading Amanda Soule’s new, beautiful book, The Rhythm of Family: Discovering a Sense of Wonder Through the Seasons . Loving it, of course!

Next week we have a crew coming to the house to clear and level about an acre of property. Then, about 2 weeks later, we are going to begin the barn raising. My father in law as well as a friend of my husband’s are coming out to help. We’ll have comfy winter housing for the animals, and a portion of land which will be indisputably, real, pasture. Exciting stuffs!

August is nearly half over and cooler weather is coming. Yes! 🙂

The vintage knits book looks adorable. I think I’ll add it to my wish list. I can’t wait to get my hands on Soule Mama’s new book!
