Needle felting

The other day we discovered THE JOYS OF NEEDLE FELTING (that’s how it looks in my mind, haha). The whole family got in on it – as in, not just Mom, but Dad as well (the needles are way too sharp for little ones’ hands, but they did enjoy watching!).

So what happened was I ordered this kit from a wonderful Waldorf supplier called A Little Garden Flower and Waldorf Essentials (by the way – love them! So helpful and such quick service!) Sophia is enjoying gnomes right now so I decided to follow this tutorial and this is how the process ended up for me…

(Dad made the snake, Mom was, again, on gnome duty!)

But this was a fun project and afterward, Sophia really enjoyed going outside and looking for natural material to create a house for her gnomes. We ended up using some bark and leaves and such. Lots of fun!
