Spring weather is upon us. And not a moment too soon, for here is the thing about winter in New England: you spend the winter feeling as though you are in a state of constant desperation for the light which keeps vanishing by the day; Vitamin D deficiency has you in its firm clutches; you wander from room to room in your house and finally you wander outside and into the biting cold, only to wring your hands in turmoil. (And it is just that dramatic at our house!)
And then just when you are booking your flight to Anywhere-But-Here, March arrives. And you remember why you live in New England, and why you would never live anywhere else.
Thank goodness for March!
